Application Procedure

Prospective applicants are required to complete the Trust's application form which is available from the Administrator, or click on the link at the foot of this page. A £20 administration fee is required with the completed application. All aspects of the application and admission process are confidential.

All applications are individually assessed by the training staff. Candidates are notified of the results as soon as possible. A face-to-face interview may be required if distance permits - otherwise a telephone interview will be arranged. Although the Trust does not provide detailed explanations to unsuccessful candidates, recommendations may be made to support a future application.

All applicants receive equal consideration regardless of race, sex, religion, sexual orientation and disability. Our training venues have partial disabled access, and the needs of students are assessed on an individual basis during an interview.

Commitment:

We emphasize that a clear and strong commitment to the entire training is essential. We have found it far more effective for the learning process to have the continuity of a training group from start to finish, rather than people moving in and out of the class as in a modular-based training. Once the class is formed it is closed. If you apply and are accepted, you are occupying a space that others may dearly love, yet there is no way to accommodate them once the training begins. Furthermore, the Trust makes commitments to its teaching staff based on the number of students who enrol. Please give this aspect of the application your thorough consideration before applying. Once you are accepted, you are committing to attend the entire eleven-seminar programme.
