We are delighted to announce some initial details of the 5th Breath of Life Conference. The Conference will explore key factors that organise how we function, beyond just the physical form. It is intended to provide a forum and meeting place for exchanging ideas at the cutting edge of holistic health. The Conference will feature seven leading speakers. Each speaker will talk individually and a panel discussion will complete the weekend. Open to all.

CONFIRMED SPEAKERS INCLUDE

• Jean-Pierre Barral - doctor of osteopathy and director of the Department of Osteopathic Manipulation at the University of Paris School of Medicine. He is a world-renowned teacher whose published works include Visceral Manipulation, Visceral Manipulation II, The Thorax, Urogenital Manipulation, Manual Thermal Diagnosis, and Osteopathic Approach to Trauma: Focus on Whiplash.
• Prof. Stephen Porges - professor of Psychiatry at the University of Illinois, director of the Brain-Body Center and author of numerous published papers in the fields of mental health, physiology and psychology. His discovery of "Polyvagal Theory" and the "Social Nervous System" gives new insights into the functioning of the autonomic nervous system.
• Gabrielle Roth - internationally renowned artist, philosopher, teacher and dancer. She is the originator of "5-Rhythms", a movement practice for spiritual awakening, and is author of the best-selling books Maps to Ecstasy, Sweat Your Prayers and Connections: The 5 Threads of Intuitive Wisdom.
• Dr. Rupert Sheldrake - biologist and author of more than sixty papers in scientific journals. His books include A New Science of Life, The Presence of the Past, Seven Experiments that Could Change the World, the award winning Dogs That Know When Their Owners Are Coming Home and The Extended Mind: Recent Experimental Evidence.
• Dr. Anngwyn St Just - psychotherapist, somatic educator and director of the Arizona Center for Social Trauma and ACST International. She has taught extensively in North and South America, Europe and Russia about innovative ways of healing individual and social trauma. For over 25 years she maintained a co-creative relationship with Peter Levine, founder of Somatic Experiencing methods for working with trauma. She is the author of numerous articles and the book Relative Balance in an Unstable World: A Search for New Models of Trauma Education and Recovery.
• Katherine Ukleja - graduated in osteopathy and currently a Course-Coordinator at the Karuna Institute, a senior tutor for the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust and highly regarded teacher of craniosacral trainings in England, USA, Switzerland and Russia.

DVD AND CD RECORDINGS OF THE 4TH BREATH OF LIFE CONFERENCE ARE NOW AVAILABLE

This Conference was held in London on May 26th - 27th 2007 and featured internationally acclaimed speakers from craniosacral therapy and allied fields. It explored key factors that organise how we function, beyond just the physical form, and provided a forum for the exchange of ideas at the cutting edge of holistic health care.

The Conference featured the following presentations:

• "Is There a Soul Before Birth? - Contours of the Embryology of Incarnation" by Dr. Jaap van der Wal - medical doctor and associate professor of Anatomy and Embryology at the University of Maastricht, Holland. • "The Quantum Coherent Liquid Crystalline Organism" by Dr. Mae Wan Ho - physicist, author of the highly acclaimed book 'The Rainbow and the Worm' and editor of 'Science In Society'. She is one of the most influential figures in the debate about the use of genetically modified organisms.
• "The Organism as a Pulsatory Continuum" by Stanley Keleman - eminent body psychotherapist who has been practising and developing somatic therapy for over thirty-five years and is author of the pioneering books 'Emotional Anatomy' and 'Your Body Speaks Its Mind'.
• "Two For Joy - The Role of Happiness in Survival and Health" by Katherine Ukleja - practised osteopathy for many years before qualifying as a craniosacral therapist. She is a highly regarded teacher of craniosacral trainings in England, USA and Switzerland.
• "The Living Matrix and Trauma Energetics" by Dr. James Oschman - biologist, physicist, researcher and world authority on energy and complementary medicine. He is author of the ground-breaking books 'Energy Medicine: The Scientific Basis' and 'Energy Medicine in Therapeutics and Human Performance'.
• "Source, Being and Self - The Nature of Being and Self in the Therapeutic Holding Environment" by Franklyn Sills - craniosacral therapist, psychotherapist and one of the pioneers of a biodynamic craniosacral approach. He is author of 'Craniosacral Biodynamics Vols. 1 & 2' and 'The Polarity Process.
• "Love Thyself" by Dr. Masaru Emoto - pioneering researcher into the subtle properties of water and author of international best-sellers 'Messages from Water 1 & 2' and 'The Hidden Messages in Water'.
• Panel discussion with all the speakers facilitated by Michael Kern D.O., R.C.S.T., B.C.S.T., M.I.Cr.A., N.D.
