This seminar will explore theoretical and practical aspects of new understandings of energetics as they apply to bodywork, energy and movement therapies of all kinds. Complementary and alternative practitioners have recognised subtle levels of energy and information exchange that can seem hard to rationalise with modern science, but this picture is rapidly changing as significant clinical implications of quantum physics and quantum biology are emerging. In addition to their practical significance, the new concepts related to frequency and resonances are helping demystify some of the remarkable therapeutic results being obtained with hands-on approaches. This workshop is open to all therapists.
Jim Oschman Ph.D. has a background in academic cell biology and biophysics. He has published over 30 papers in leading scientific journals, and about an equal number in complementary medicine journals. He is author of the groundbreaking books Energy Medicine: The Scientific Basis and Energy Medicine in Therapeutics and Human Performance. He is a world authority on energy and complementary medicine, and lectures internationally. He is the originator of the "living matrix" concept, and his investigations into the biophysics of the living connective tissue provide the basis for new understandings of human physiology and its clinical applications.
