This workshop will explore the ventricles of the brain, their form and their significance within the body and the "relational field". In particular, we will look at enfolding and unfolding space in relation to the ventricles. Our ability to access space at the ventricles and its appropriateness will also be considered. This is a practise-oriented day that will include group discussion and questions, and hands-on table work. Open to craniosacral therapists and cranial osteopaths.

Topics covered will include:

• a review of the anatomy and physiology of the ventricles
• the embryological development of the ventricles
• the neighbouring structures of the ventricular system
• the ventricles and their relationship to blood circulation
• the importance of being with the ventricular spaces and the space/spaciousness around.

Tutor:

Erwin Van de Velde is a Registered Craniosacral Therapist and a Certified Shiatsu Practitioner. He has studied a broad approach within the Craniosacral and Shiatsu fields and has a multidisciplinary background of more than 20 years. He is co-founder of the Shiatsu Training Programme in Belgium and has been a senior tutor at CCST, Karuna and CTET.
