The health of the uterus is fundamental to women. This often neglected organ lies deep in the pelvis and is closely connected to the sacrum and therefore to the core link of the craniosacral system. It is an organ of creativity and relationship, whether that creation is a baby or some other expression of life’s work.
In this one-day workshop we will explore the anatomy and physiology of the uterus and its seat in the pelvis, looking at it as a muscular organ with ligamentous attachments to the pelvis, as a hormonal powerhouse along with the ovaries and as a psycho-emotional teller of stories. Common pathologies of the uterus will also be examined and ways to relate to these using craniosacral therapy will be explored. The day will include time for practical table work and the workshop is open to men and women.
